Project Update - May 2020

May 4th 2020

The beginning of 2020 saw significant progress in construction works at the Kimpton Kawana Bay resort. The beachfront Matura building reached its final level and the roof slab has been poured. The swimming pool, pool bar and sea wall have all been cast, with only final finishes still to come. The earthworks for the Kiawah building were also started.

On March 25th, the Government of Grenada instituted a nation-wide State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This unfortunately required us to temporarily cease all construction activities.  We look forward to continuing with the great progress we made prior to the forced shutdown as soon as the restrictions on construction have been lifted in Grenada.

Please see the construction update video and images below showing the great progress that was made prior to the forced shutdown due to COVID-19.

Despite the State of Emergency in Grenada which has required businesses to close, the Kimpton Kawana Bay team continues to work remotely to provide support and service to our clients and agents.

We are also proud to say that the Grenadian Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Unit is operating remotely with a fully online e-submission application process. The CBI Unit is functioning and Kimpton Kawana Bay investors continue to make CBI application submissions and receive approvals.

During this period of global uncertainty, there has never been a better time to secure a second citizenship for you and your family.
